I've bought some time last year a NUC7i3BNK. Everything was all nice and working until I updated my Windows 10 to the latest version earlier this year.
The issue now is that I somehow lost my audio to the BH9530TW. Video is still all fine but my NUC doesn't even display any output sound device anymore.
When I directly connect it to my TV, the audio is correctly recognized. The issue persisted through any updates I did (BIOS, HDMI, further OS updates, Graphics / Sound driver).
Any idea what I can do to bring my sound back? I've attached the detail report from the intel software.
Please right click on the icon of volume that is showing on the lower right corner, then select "playback devices", are you able to see the TV listed there?.
Are you sure the cable is properly connected?
Do you have the option to use another HDMI cable?
Do you have the chance to connect the NUC to another monitor or TV?
A few things I can already say:
- I've updated the BIOS successfully a few hours after I took the report, unfortunately no effect.
- The cable has to be connected otherwise there would not be any video output.
- I have two different brands of HDMI cables that I tested between my LG and the NUC, no success either.
- The NUC on my TV works as said in the previous post, the issue is just with my LG.
I'll try the different graphics driver in the next days and post my result here again.
