  Hi Tony,

Yes, it is the same board, and it can be used in the 8591A as well.

Attached you will find the installation note for the quasi-peak detector upgrade kit. It also has the material list, which does show other parts such as the speaker, volume control, and the wiring, but if you don't need the demod sound you can use the detector functionality with just the card and driver installed.

If the instrument already has option 102 FM Demod all of the speaker and stuff is already there, you just move the connections to the option 103 board, it takes precidant for demod.

One additional question - I don't have option 102 installed, and it is probably going to be very diffiecult to find the speaker and the RFI plate. Are these absolutely necessary? - I'm not too worried about the lack of sound, for me it's only really important to be able to obtain QP readings when required.
